Account book, 1882-1913, 1882-1885, 1911-1913 (bulk).

Account book recording the work of M. Donnelly. He painted buldings, inside and out, including outbuildings, roofs, and fences. He also grained, enameled, varnished, stained, and whitewashed (he called it kalsomining) rooms, floors, and furniture. Sometimes he listed the color of paint purchased. He bronzed radiators, hung wallpaper and borders, and glazed windows. Nineteen pages of his accounts are all that exist. There are also some math problems, probably solved by Bertha M. Donnelly. Several loose items are laid into the volume, including M. Donnelly's certificate of membership in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and a 1895 painting contract for a house in Charlotte.
